Pricing Structure Please add $3 for every additional page over 120. Formatting Phone Consultations - $500 We'll divide your script into five sections and schedule five one-hour phone calls. Twenty-four hours prior to each scheduled call, you'll send me roughly 1/5 of your script. During the phone call, we'll review each page for word choice, clarity, spacing, writing style and formatting. Story will not be discussed. Think of this as Formatting 101. Script Services
Basic Proofread/Edit/Format Pass - $150 for Scripts Under 120 Pages
Every page of your script will be combed through for punctuation, grammar and spelling errors as well as formatting issues. Alternatives will be offered for sentences that are too long or too hard to follow. And suggestions will be made to replace passive voice with active verbs.

Imbedded Story Notes - An Additional $25
This is not story coverage or a consultation. But, due to popular demand, I am offering this extra service. I'll imbed notes at various points in your screenplay where I have story questions. Whether it's big picture issues regarding your Protagonist, Antagonist, Inciting Incident or Act Breaks - or smaller issues, such as a character's motivation within a scene - I will include my comment at that exact moment in your script. I will also e-mail a one-to-two paragraph critique of the entire screenplay.
Please note, this is not a 90-minute phone consultation or three-to-five pages of coverage. In fact, with many clients, my imbedded story notes include the name of a consultant that I highly recommend who can address all of your story issues.

Rekeying Service - $500
I will rekey your entire script, correcting formatting, spacing and word choice errors as well as paragraph structure. Story will not be affected or discussed. This service just ensures that your script has readability and flows easily. A waiver stating that I do not have any rights to the finished project will be provided with your script. Please contact me to discuss the software you want the final script in before scheduling or making payment.

From time to time, scripts come in for the Basic Proofreading service that are not ready for Reader Ready at the moment. In those instances, I reserve the right to return the script unedited and refund payment or recommend an upgrade to the Rekeying Service or the Formatting Phone Consultation. When I do return scripts, please realize that I am trying to avoid wasting your time and money doing an edit on a script that needs additional work that is beyond the scope of my basic services. Generally, I will edit a few pages of the script for free to show you where I think the script requires more attention, and then we can discuss doing a refund or postponing the job until you can make another pass at the screenplay.
Please note that these services include several back-and-forth e-mails. The first pass at a query, synopsis or logline does not have to be the final pass - it's a starting point for us to hone in on exactly what you want. Prices for these services are below.
Query Letter Proofread/Edit - $40 Per Letter
I will proofread/edit your query letter to make sure it tells your story in a succinct, effective manner. Please note, you must have a rough draft of a query letter or a rough beat sheet to send when ordering this service if I have not read your script. Please send your letter in either PDF or Microsoft Word format. Also, please note that if your query letter mentions only one script, a logline and synopsis will be included with this service. One-Sentence Logline - $15
Please send a rough logline, even if it is several sentences.
Script Read Only to Create Logline/Synopsis/Query - $50
If you do not want to create a beat sheet or rough synopsis/query letter, I will read your script, without proofreading it, for $50 so that I can familiarize myself with the story and characters.
When To Make Payment
Payment must be received before any scripts or queries will be read.
